Classroom Management

Classroom management is an essential aspect of a successful learning environment.

It is my belief that the classroom should always be positive with rules and policies that help instill personal goals versus simply creating limits of actions and behaviors.

Students should not simply learn facts and information in the classroom.

Their experiences should help them learn how to be good people and effective community members.

To achieve this, my ideal classroom fosters a studio environment;

a safe and respectful community space where students can learn with and from one another.

All rules and procedures will be decided upon as a class and a studio agreement will be signed by all students.

The statements below provide the foundation upon which our classroom goals can be achieved.
